Top 5 Things to do in Lisbon
Ride Tram 28
Tram 28 is the most iconic symbols of Lisbon, so you’ll definitely want to ride it - or at least get a picture of it.
People wait a very long time to get on this but, so be prepared for a wait and potentially to stand while riding.
I recommend getting to the Martim Moniz station at 7 or 8am to ensure a lower wait time
2. Check out the Pink Street
Pink street is a small pathway, painted pink and filled with phot opportunities.
I recommend snagging an outdoor table to enjoy the pink street beyond the one photo most people take
3. Eat a pastéis de nata
This pastry is arguably the most famous thing to eat in Lisbon. It’s a light, custard-like snack that goes perfectly with a cup of cofffee.
The best place to get this within the city center is at Manteigaria!
4. Catch views at the top of Santa Justa List
The views at the top of this lift provide a picturesque view of all of the city.
The line to ride the list is long and costs money, so I recommend taking the stairs which are located next to the “luggage” sign. It’s free and you’ll be in and out much quicker.
5. Explore the beauties of Alfama
Alfama is a beautiful part of Lisbon, giving “old town” vibes.
I recommend walking around the area right before sunset, so that you make it to one of the designated viewing points when the sun in setting.
