Sunday Dreamin’: A Budget Brunch Dream Come True

Sunday Dreamin’ is offering an affordable bottomless brunch that I strongly recommend checking out.

How much is it?

The bottomless add-on is only $15 if you get to the restaurant before 12PM and $25 if you get there after. If i were you, I would make a reservation for 11:45AM to get the best bang for your buck.

Majority of the entrees are priced around $17, with more affordable options like waffles/pancakes for $11 or richer options like squid ink pasta for $26.

If you’re ballin on a budget, you can get bottomless brunch for $26 and if you’re ballin’ out, expect to spend $50. Either way, this is a fantastic deal with quality food.

What is the food like?

The menu is extensive, with lighter options that lean towards breakfast as well as heavier options that lean towards lunch. This is what we got

  • Squid Ink Pasta ($26): This was my favorite dish and an absolute must-try if you’re a seafood lover. I was originally not going to order this because I don’t really “get” what make it squid ink so special aside from it being black pasta, but the owner really recommended it. I’m still not sure if the squid ink makes the pasta taste any different, but the fresh calamari rings and uni really brought all the flavors together into something that I would rate a solid 9/10.

  • Salmon Toast ($17): This was a VERY close second. It’s so simple, with scallion cream cheese spread on a sourdough bread and topped with smoked salmon, but it truly blew me away. The freshness of every bite was overwhelming, in the best way possible.

  • Spicy Vodka Pasta: ($18): Classic spicy vodka pasta can do no wrong. If a restaurant is messing up spicy vodka pasta in NYC, it will not last. I’m glad to report that Sunday Dreamin’ will last.

  • Fuego Burger ($17): This beautiful creation has chorizo, jalapeño, Russian mayo, and Oaxaca cheese. This was honestly really good, but was overshadowed by the 3 dishes above. If you’re looking for a handheld entree though, go for this one!

What are the drink options?

We did the bottomless option, but it included mimosas, bellinis, sangria (red & white). Of the options, I definitely enjoyed the sangria’s more, while my friend enjoyed the bellini.

One thing to note that this restaurant does not offer liquor as they are located right next to a church. So that means drink, up and go hard haha.

What is the ambiance like?

The ambiance is as “brunchy” as it gets. There’s outdoor seating available, but even inside allows a ton of natural light and air to come in. The door/windows fully open, giving you the option to feel like you’re outside while sitting inside.

The neon signs are pretty cool too!
